Q1: Can the 3ft flexible tube camera of ToolCam/II be extended? 

 

A1: Yes, the ToolCam/II 3ft flexible tube camera can be extended using the optional Tool-3802 extensions.  It is possible to extend up to 21 feet using upto 6 additional Tool-3802 linked together.

Q2: What is the difference between ToolCam and ToolCamII?

 

A2: The difference between ToolCam and ToolCamII is the diameters of the camera flexible tubes.  ToolCam comes with a 17mm diameter and ToolCamII comes with a 9.5mm diameter camera flexible tube.

Q3: Can I use this for under water applications and is there any water temperature limitations?

A3: Yes, all 3ft of the ToolCam/II flexible tube camera has an IP rating of ‘IP67′ meaning it can be submerged under water or waterproof.  Camera is operatable within the temperature range of 14~122 F with humidity of 15% to 80%.NOTE: Only the 3ft flexible tube is waterproof, please do not let the hand-grip or detachable LCD get wet.

Q4: Can the Tool-3802 3ft extentions be use with ToolCamII?

 

A4: Yes, the Tool-3802 extension is an optional add-on extension item for ToolCamII system for those who want to extend the camera tube length.

Q5: When the LCD monitor is attached to the ToolCam/II hand held grip, why the video output port connected to my TV not displaying any camera image?

 

A5: This is the nature of this product.  If the LCD monitor is connected to the hand held grip, the video output will not work to display camera image.  Please detect the LCD monitor from the hand held grip for the video output to function properly.

Q6: When the LCD monitor is attached to the ToolCam/II hand held grip, why the video input port cannot display the input source? 

A6: This is the nature of this product.  If the LCD monitor is connected to the hand held grip, the video input will not take the input source to the LCD monitor.  Please detact the LCD montior from the hand held grip for the video input to function properly.
